Henry VIII as born on June 28,1499 in a town called Greenwitch. There was only one Henry before him, and that was his father, Henry VII. Henry was the first of the Tudors to rule England. When Henry VIII took the throne, he was only seventeen. When his brother died and Henry VIII was on the throne, he married his brother's widow. One thing that Henry VIII was the fact that he had six wives. Henry VII later wanted the pope to cancel his marriage with his first wife for his second love, Anne Boyeln, but the pope refeused.
